Patricia Lane Williams, CPA, MS
Pat is a CPA, an author, and a teacher. She started her business career in high school when her father found out she was taking bookkeeping and had her doing his billing. Since then she has been involved with various businesses in one way or the other. As a teacher she has taught everything from seventh-grade social studies to college-level accounting. She got her accounting experience in a regional firm and had her own one-woman firm for eight years. She has worked in associations, corporations, and now devotes her time to writing and teaching. She has authored several CPE program manuals and is currently working on a book that will help individuals get down to the nitty gritty in managing their financial affairs. A co-founder of CPA Firm Support Services, LLC, Pat appreciates the importance of the small to medium-size CPA firms as the backbone of the accounting profession.
