Database Networking for Smaller CPA Firms
Subscription Plan subscribers will be included in our database of smaller CPA firms. Firms’ practice concentrations and service areas will be highlighted to facilitate networking in many cities throughout the nation.
Accounting and Auditing Updates via Website Blogs
New developments affecting CPA firms will be available on frequently updated blogs. Subscriber firms will have opportunities to express interests and viewpoints, as well as email their concerns to appropriate regulatory bodies.
Subscription Plan Support Services
In addition to the networking and updating opportunities described above, subscriber firms will receive two free responses to accounting and auditing problems or questions annually, periodic free downloads of our practice support booklets and 10% discounts on all our products, consulting services and seminars. Annual individual subscription fees will be $99 per year beginning in 2009.
Accounting and Auditing Consulting Services
Prompt, written responses to technical accounting and auditing problems and questions will be provided at a flat rate of $99 per incident. Responses will include cites for research sources, solutions alternatives and solutions guidance.
Quality Control Inspections and Efficiency Reviews
Satisfying the requirements for CPA firm inspections between peer review years, these engagements can be performed in our offices for $99 per hour or at your firm’s location for $1,500 per day, plus expenses. Each engagement includes a written report including engagement deficiencies and time savings opportunities. Engagements conducted in your offices include an exit conference with firm management and/or staff personnel.
Single engagement reviews of planning documentation in our office are $199 each. Concurring reviews of single engagements in our office are $499 each.
Regional Continuing Education Seminars
Working with affiliates in various locations, we will provide quality continuing education seminars geared to smaller CPA firms. Seminar subjects will generally concentrate in areas not served by other CPE providers.
Staff Training Webinars, Audio on Demand and Podcasts
Beginning later in 2009, we plan to make available continuing education via the internet on an economical “one-price-per-firm” basis. A wide variety of accounting and auditing subjects will be included initially. Tax and other subjects will be added later.
Simplified Documentation Manuals for Small and Medium-Size Audits
A joint venture with a local CPA firm, and the prior experiences of our management, will enable us to offer simplified auditing documentation manuals that comply with the requirements of applicable statements on auditing standards. With economical prices based on firm size, these manuals will be published online for easy downloads of text files in 2009. Electronic versions will be available in the future.
Books, Practice Aids and Tools that Create Practice Efficiencies for Smaller CPA Firms
Our small books library will eventually include all accounting and auditing subjects CPA firm personnel need to do quality work and maximize profits. Available online beginning in the summer months of 2009, these tools will be available for download on an individual or firm-wide basis.
Affiliates Located Throughout the United States
Unlike other organizations supplying books, practice aids, consulting services and seminars, we will operate through many affiliates in different geographic locations. An affiliate may be an individual, CPA firm or other organization that will make our products and services available on local levels. Working with local CPA firms, an affiliate will form local groups of firms to facilitate networking, seminar presentations and other activities. Each affiliate will operate similar to a franchisee and will create its own proprietary business. Our goal is to work with CPA firms in many cities and geographic regions.
