Database Networking for Smaller CPA Firms

Subscription Plan subscribers will be included in our database of smaller CPA firms. Firms’ practice concentrations and service areas will be highlighted to facilitate networking in many cities throughout the nation.

Accounting and Auditing Updates via Website Blogs

New developments affecting CPA firms will be available on frequently updated blogs. Subscriber firms will have opportunities to express interests and viewpoints, as well as email their concerns to appropriate regulatory bodies.

Subscription Plan Support Services

In addition to the networking and updating opportunities described above, subscriber firms will receive two free responses to accounting and auditing problems or questions annually, periodic free downloads of our practice support booklets and 10% discounts on all our products, consulting services and seminars. Annual individual subscription fees will be $99 per year beginning in 2009.

Accounting and Auditing Consulting Services

Prompt, written responses to technical accounting and auditing problems and questions will be provided at a flat rate of $99 per incident. Responses will include cites for research sources, solutions alternatives and solutions guidance.

Consulting Reviews

Our consulting review engagements can be performed in our offices for $150 per hour or at your firm’s location for $1,500 per day, plus expenses. Each engagement includes a written report including engagement deficiencies and time savings opportunities. Engagements include an exit conference with firm management and/or staff personnel.

Single engagement reviews of planning documentation in our office are $300 each. Consulting reviews of single engagements in our office are are based on the hours spent at $150 per hour.

Continuing Education Seminars

We provide quality continuing education seminars geared to smaller CPA firms for presentation in your offices. Seminar subjects are outlined under the Seminars tab.

Staff Training Live and On-Demand Webcasts and Self-study Courses

We publish our live, on-demand and recorded webcasts and self-study courses through CPE Link, Western CPE and CPE Solutions. A wide variety of accounting and auditing subjects are included and can be accessed through the links on the left side of our homepage.

Simplified Documentation Manuals for Small and Medium-Size Audits

We are developing documentation manuals designed for small audits that comply with the requirements of applicable professional standards. These small audit manuals also will be designed to maximize engagement efficiencies and will be accompanied by automated electronic documentation applications.

Books, Practice Aids and Tools that Create Practice Efficiencies for Smaller CPA Firms

Our small books accounting and auditing library includes a wide variety of accounting and auditing subjects CPA firm personnel need to do quality work and maximize profits. These small books, including applicable illustrative practice aids, can be reviewed on our products page and purchased in our store for $19 individually or as low as $10 each when purchased in groups of 10 or more.
